If you had a 2024-2025 Yamaha YZ450F and then purchased a new 2026 YZ450F you may notice a little more engine braking with the new ’26 bLU cRU machine. For me, it made the new Yamaha difficult to roll corners as it upset the chassis at times (once the suspension was broken in). Relaxing the engine a little on de-cel really helped the balance of the bike leading into corners. Below is a map that will take away some of that engine braking and make rolling your corners a little easier on the 2026 YZ450F. Give it a try if you noticed it like I did.
