The new KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition comes with WP’s Pro Components and although we finally got a spring fork in standard trim (thank you KTM), the CV fork is a little firm through the mid stroke which can make the KTM feel very harsh on edge of tire (while leaning). The Traxx shock can get a little deep in the stroke on high load situations which can make for an unbalanced feel around the track at times. Although we recommend going down a spring rate on the fork for most people, here is somewhat of a band aid for you riders that are not quite ready to get springs or a re-valve yet.

Fork:
Spring Rate: 5.0Nm (4.8Nm would be better for riders under 195 pounds)
Height: 2.5 mm

R: 23 clicks out
Shock:
Spring Rate: .45N/m (If you’re over 200 pounds going to a .48N/m will help bring the rear end up on acceleration and high load situations)
Sag: 102mm (You can try as high as 100mm if you’ feel like you’re too low in the rear on acceleration)

LSC: 16 out
